Meet Stasi & Steph
We have been best friends for 20 years and have always shared a passion for fitness and health. Unfortunately, like most people, during adolescence, we struggled with our own insecurities while trying to build a positive relationship with staying active.
During the COVID pandemic, it became more apparent how many others also struggled with body image and feeling confident. More importantly, we saw that fitness apparel companies were not putting enough emphasis on the relationship between becoming strong both mentally and physically. How we think and talk to ourselves on a day to day basis can significantly influence and affect us physically, and alter our approach to staying active and reaching certain goals.
We saw this as an opportunity, and created AIRO Active with the objective of bridging the gap between mindset and exercise. When people wear our clothes, we want them to feel empowered and confident, and approach working out with a positive mindset. At AIRO we believe that the first step to getting strong physically, is becoming strong mentally.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide activewear that motivates. We want the collections to inspire positive thinking and self love, and our goal is to create various collections that provide top quality, inclusive, and versatile activewear to help individuals have an all rounded sustainable and healthy lifestyle.
Our Vision
AIRO is dedicated to becoming a top class fitness brand that offers more than just a workout outfit. Our goal is to positively impact the wellbeing of as many individuals we can, by empowering and motivating them to become both physically and mentally strong.
Our Fabric
We are dedicated to making our brand sustainable in all areas we can. One of those areas is our fabric. AIRO is using RPET fabric, which is a composition of recycled polyester (made from recycled plastic bottles).
Meet Our Manufacturer
Airo Active's first collection is made in Portugal. Portugal was not chosen only due to its beautiful fabrics and history of quality, but also due to Portugal's efforts towards sustainability.
In 2019, the UN ranked Portugal among the 30 most sustainable countries in the world.
Tryport Textiles is located in Trofa, Portugal. They have 35 years of experience in the textile industry, and is a company with a vast and innovative spirit.
